Awards Archive Report

Since its inception, the Foundation has assisted approximately 844 individuals and institutions and given $636,943.20 in grants and awards.

Historically, project grants supported exploration in such areas as leukemia, cancer chemotherapy and sickle cell anemia.

Grants-in-aid to medical departments have helped to convene scientists from all over the world to exchange their experiences in the frontiers of research, scientific concepts and philosophy.

From early in the Foundation's history, emphasis has been on awarding as many "starter grants" to as many worthwhile applicants as possible for students taking the first step from high school to college.

This Archive Award Report is a listing of the awards and grants made by the Foundation since 1967.
